so deeply sorry for your loss. holding you and your family in the light.
i only knew her through her writing, but it was such a gift to me, at a very difficult time in my life.

Along with many many others I was knocked for six when I hear the sad news of Elspeth's passing. Though I didn't know her that well, I had admired her for many years before we ever spoke and of course knew friends who were her friends. She looked so amazingly beautiful and somehow it seems impossible for such beauty to leave us. My thoughts are with her close family and also with her friends. Best wishes x

Ros, I just read about it in the Telegraph and am overwhelmed with sadness for the loss of your dear friend. What an ethereal and talented soul she was. My thoughts are with you, her family and all the friends she touched near and far. Sending you love and prayers.... xx
Though I only knew Elspeth through her wonderful work, I feel a great sadness at her passing. I can't even begin to imagine how hard this must be for those close to her. My thoughts are with you all. She will be remembered fondly.
