My youngest daughter has gone on a 4 day residential school trip.
I found this book by Arthur Ransome, of Swallows and Amazons fame.
I love the maps and diagrams
I hope it may inspire her.

My mother in law is the inspiration for one of the characters in the book. She was friends with Arthur Ransomes children. Just a peice of useless information. I loved those books as a child too.
