My blog is like a bus......nothing for months then 2 posts come along at the same time.

Here are my  pre Christmas sale dates

I will be selling Little Badger children's handknits and my new 2 latest books at the following events between now and Christmas. I am frantically working on finishing another knitting book too and working out how to make an online shop so watch this space........

New Books

Sorry for the absence I have been very busy working on two books for Collins UK the publishers of Homemade.
I am now on the home straight and close to my May 7th deadline. So I  decided to share a few of the project photographs with you.

The books will be published in October 2012,  working titles are Homemade Sew Knit and Crochet and Homemade Christmas and festive Celebrations. Each book will  contain approx  25 projects, some taken from the original Homemade book but mostly new ideas.
They will retail for around £8 each so really good value. I hope this sneak preview will keep you interested!

Prince's Foundation Arts & Crafts House March 2012

 

 Hand cut felt oak leaves appliqued onto linen.

The first two images show HRH Prince Charles looking at the rooms in his Prince's Foundation Arts and Crafts House at this year's Ideal Home Show, Earl's Court March - April 2012.  I made all the textiles.....curtains, cushions, seat covers, pillows, bed covers, changing mat, etc etc, using beautiful fabrics from St Judes,  Emily Burningham, Timorous Beasties, Olicana  and Lindsay Alkar among others. I was commissioned by the wonderful creative set designer Christina Moore and worked along side the fabulously creative Thomasina Smith and Dee Townsend.
